MHSs visual arts opportunities include art education in PreK through 12th grade, as well as a campus visual arts center. Furthermore, includes music education options in students schedules and a wide variety of instrumental, vocal, and dance extra-curricular options with numerous performance centers on campus.

Students are encouraged to showcase their talents via a wide variety of on- and off-campus opportunities. All is provided to the students at no financial cost to families including students instruments, uniforms & costumes, lessons, travel, etc.

MHS is looking to hire an Event Musicians for the following instruments to support 30-34 hours for rehearsals and performances :

• Violin
• Viola
• French Horn

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma, Bachelors Degree in Music preferred.
• Two or more years experience with the pit orchestra for the musical production preferred.
• Ability to interact with students of different age and skill level in a positive and professional manner.
• Experience working with students and families from under-served populations a plus.
• Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, commitment, respect, and positivity, as all MHS staff are considered role models for students.
• Candidates should be willing to actively engage with MHS students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
