Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for new child and adolescent clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including prescription management. Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and response to therapy.
Provide ongoing psychiatric care and medication management for established patients. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and medical staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and medication management. Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and continuing education activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
Education and / or Work Experience Requirements : Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Washington State. Active and unrestricted DEA license. Certification as a PMHNP by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience in psychiatric and mental health settings. Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing mental health disorders, and prescribing psychotropic medications.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families.
Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Manual dexterity to perform clinical procedures and use medical equipment.
Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively. Job Types : Full-time, Part-time, Contract Pay : Up to $250,000.
