One of the fastest growing independent agencies in the United States has an opening for a Commercial Lines Account Manager.
As their growth continues, they are searching for positive, creative, and hardworking Commercial Insurance Account Managers to join their team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiates the renewal process for current customers and discusses with the producer.
Analyzes and compares current exposures and develops renewal or new business specifications for marketing the insurance coverages.
Conducts marketing with accuracy and efficiency in order to get the best quote available.
Reviews and summarizes marketing results and prepares proposals.
Finalizes proposals in coordination with the producer.
Binds insurance coverage and completes associated tasks.
Reviews insurance policies for accuracy.
Reviews insurance contracts and MSAs for customers.
Prepares insurance summaries and / or schedules of coverage for customers.
Works with accounting staff for billing and collection needs.
Notifies insurance carriers of pertinent information related to client retention.
Meets with customers as needed or directed by the producer
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Must hold Property & Casualty Producer License. Professional designations are a plus (e.g. CIC, CISR, CPCU etc.)
Maintains license by meeting Continuing Education requirements.
Possesses exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience with Applied Epic or other agency operating systems is beneficial
