Sunstates Security is currently hiring Flex Security Officers for various locations starting at $19.00 / hr., paid weekly.

Job Summary :

As a Flex Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

This position requires flexibility in scheduling and the ability to work at various locations as needed. You will be responsible for monitoring premises, preventing and responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Detect and deter any signs of criminal activity or disturbances.
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct regular inspections of premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms and calls for assistance, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
• Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while remaining vigilant.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
• Attend training sessions and stay updated on security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements :

We are seeking candidates with a clean driving record, reliable transportation, and flexible availability for on-call shifts.

A willingness to work overtime across multiple locations is essential.

• Three (3) years of verifiable driving experience is required for driving positions!
• One (1) year of Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience is preferred!
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• The ability to present a professional appearance is required.
• Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods of time and distance.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure in the area of responsibility.
• Read and understand written instructions and communicate information and ideas in clear and concise written form.
• Willing and able to work holidays and weekends
• Willing to work in all weather conditions
• Able to work independently
• Clean background, ability to pass a pre-employment evaluation, and pass random drug screens

A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives. Sun123
