Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute a diverse range of events from conception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and budget.
- Source and negotiate contracts with venues, vendors, and suppliers.
- Develop event timelines and ensure all parties are informed and on track.
- Manage event logistics, including catering, transportation, and accommodation.
- Conduct site visits and preparations, ensuring venues meet specifications.
- Evaluate events post-implementation for effectiveness and areas of improvement.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in event planning and coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability.
- A degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
