The role of District Manager plays a crucial part in overseeing and managing the operations of multiple locations within a designated district.
They are responsible for providing effective leadership, driving business growth, and ensuring operational excellence across their assigned district.
Key responsibilities of the District Manager include managing and developing a team of store managers, setting performance targets, and providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to a team of field employees within the assigned district. Set performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and mentoring as needed.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations within the district, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve operational goals and targets.
- Develop and manage the district budget, including forecasting and cost control measures. Monitor expenses, revenue, and profitability to achieve financial objectives.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates the work of the wireline outside plant telecommunications team, ensuring their performance is reviewed.
- Assumes responsibility for promptly addressing and resolving customer trouble tickets by assessing the issue, directing staff and resources accordingly, and supervising resolution activities.
- Reviews and assesses work, methods, processes, and procedures, collaborating with staff to identify problems and determine appropriate action plans.
- Monitors and evaluates service delivery methods and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, recommending suitable service and staffing levels within corporate policies.
- Attends and actively participates in professional association meetings to stay informed about new trends and developments in IP, Fiber Optic, and Internet telecommunications engineering, proposing their incorporation into plant operations when relevant.
- Develops and maintains network disaster recovery plans and procedures.
- Provides oversight for Mainstream's service vehicle fleet.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Key Qualifications :
- HSD, or equivalent education, is required.
- High School Diploma, or equivalent education, required
- 5 years’ of related work experience (i.e., construction, telecommunications, utilities)
- 2-3 years’ of supervisory and / or management experience
- Must have Valid Driver’s Licenses
- Project management skills such as planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.
Additional Notes :
This position may require being on-call. Employees will respond to emergency calls between the hours of 5 : 00 p.m. to 8 : 00 a.
m. This position may require weekend work, night work, and / or overnight travel.
- This position does require travel to different counties throughout Indiana.
- This position is performed in the field both outdoor and indoor conditions daily.
