Criminal Defense Attorney
Our client is a highly respected law firm with a robust criminal defense practice, known for delivering exceptional legal services to its clients.
The firm is currently seeking a skilled and driven Attorney to join their Westlake Village, CA team. This is a unique opportunity for a talented attorney to further their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking legal environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Independently manage a caseload of criminal defense matters.
- Represent clients in court, including officer-involved shootings and other serious criminal cases.
- Draft and review legal documents, including motions and briefs.
- Conduct discovery, interviews, and depositions.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and contribute to case strategy and planning.
Qualifications :
- 2-5 years of criminal defense experience (experience with officer-involved shootings is highly preferred).
- Must be licensed to practice and in good standing with the California State Bar.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Westlake Village, CA .
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
