About The Position
Job Title : Telemetry Nurse - Nights Job Specialty : Intermediate Care Job Duration : 12 Months Shift : 12 Hrs, 3x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per week Experience : Minimum of 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing preferred License : Current New York State Professional Nurse License Certifications : Graduate of a New York State approved school of nursing Must-Have : Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak) Job Description : Responsible for monitoring and analyzing patient vital signs using specialized equipment to detect changes or abnormalities in heart function.
- Requires strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.- Must have knowledge of cardiac monitoring, telemetry equipment, and medication administration.
- Effective communication with the healthcare team to ensure quality care.- Ability to respond promptly to changes in patient conditions.
