What Will You Be Doing?
An experienced accountant performing assigned month-end accounting functions, quarterly-reviews and year-end audit requests, and special projects.
This position focuses in accounting for all fixed asset-related activities and any capitalized maintenance. This position will work with other largely Finance, for capital asset requests.
Essential Functions
- Prepare journal entries for month-end closing.
- Prepare and analyze monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
- Complete monthly and quarterly balance sheet and income statement analytics.
- Document accounting processes in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.
- Quarterly financial reporting support and internal and external audit requests
Other Functions
- Assist in quarterly reviews and year-end audit requests.
- Special projects / continual process improvement
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of applicable previous accounting experience
- B.S. degree in Accounting
- Certified Public Accountant, preferred but not required
- Month-end close experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work well with other team members and other departments
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Able to work with strict confidentiality

$46,715 - $62,006
