Responsibilities

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in San Jose, CA. In this role, you will :

• Design electrical schematics (power & instrumentation) SLD / MLD.
• Select electrical components for end-of-life (EOL) applications.
• Calculate conductor size and insulation type.
• Support FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) on electrical systems / products for various metrological and dynamic testing applications.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure high product performance standards.
• Design cables and harnesses using Altium.
• Create MS Office documents including BOMs, manuals, procedures, and PPT presentations.

Qualifications

• Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods.
• Test finished products and system capabilities.
• Keep necessary testing equipment operational and calibrated.
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results.
• Hands-On in small electrical fabrications and troubleshooting.

Educational Requirements :

BSEE with 5 years experience, MSEE with 2 years experience, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $101,000 and $164,000 and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position.
