We're hiring a Project Manager (PM) to join our construction team. In this role, you’ll support the management of general contractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and safety throughout each project. If you’re passionate about construction management, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of Construction in managing project schedules and budgets.
- Assist with reviewing construction documents for constructability, value engineering, and compliance with proffers.
- Help administer contracts, including obtaining necessary permits and coordinating inspections.
- Assist in managing ASIs, RFIs, shop drawings, and change orders, ensuring proper documentation and timely responses.
- Coordinate communication and information flow between internal and external stakeholders to avoid project delays.
- Prepare reports and updates for senior management on progress, budget, and schedule.
- Monitor site conditions to ensure safety and productivity, and escalate any issues to the Director of Construction.
- Track project costs and assist with payable monitoring.
- Coordinate project tours for tenant prospects and VIPs.
- Assist in managing private utility installations and building / unit delivery coordination with property management.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the project.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, real estate or related field preferred
- Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience as real estate construction experience
- Possesses knowledge of all engineering disciplines, construction technologies and job site management
- Must have a positive, can-do attitude and be able to fuel growth and innovation
- Must be customer-focused and results-oriented
- Must want to continuously learn and develop
- Exceptional oral and written communication, active listening, and organizational skills
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with others in team setting
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Self-directed and able to work independently, with minimal supervision
