Job Brief :
The Planning Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing project plans, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure that all aspects of the project are on track.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budgeting systems.
- Develop and maintain streamlined and comprehensive planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
- Work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans for growth.
- Optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
- Develop technical solutions and strategies in project management, construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Research and issue reports, develop presentations, and propose software solutions.
- Ensure accuracy and accountability in coding, editing, and writing reports, letters, and memos.
- Maintain files, records, and documents using applicable software systems and procedures.
- Assist with training staff on the use of various software programs.
- Assist with budgeting and scheduling.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years' experience in construction planning.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Demonstrated experience in developing presentations, spreadsheets, and other supporting documents.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
