About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $1167 To $1297 Job Title : Certified Operating Room Technician / Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Surgical Services Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Day Shift, 3x12-Hour (06 : 30 - 19 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years required License : South Carolina RN License preferred;
candidates with a pending license may be considered Certifications : - NBSTSA (Required; another certification not accepted)- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Radiation Badge (Provided by agency) Must-Have : Radiation badge- Willingness to work up to 4 call shifts every 4 weeks- Compliance with holiday work requirements and emergency response during hurricane season Job Description : 12-week contract position for Certified Surgical Technologists available- Day shifts, 3x12 hours, with work extending over the weekend on at least one occasion every 4 weeks- On-call shifts required up to four times every four weeks- Essential to work during at least one of the major holiday periods- Potential requirement to float between similar units to meet facility needs- Engage in the staffing of a wide variety of cases, encompassing Trauma, Transplant, Orthopedics, Neurology, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics- Join a dynamic and busy nurse-driven department within a Level I Trauma Center- Working within an academic, trauma, teaching, and Magnet designated facility- Knowledge of EPIC charting system required Additional Notes : Be prepared to be part of emergency response teams during hurricane season, particularly from June through November- Ensure that all requested days off are submitted by the time of application- First-time travel candidates welcomedThis opportunity allows candidates to engage in advanced surgical procedures within a supportive and technologically advanced environment.
