We seek a full-time accounting / operations manager to support our Vista business office. This office oversees the operations and provides back-office support for 20+ franchise locations across multiple brands.
The ideal applicant has strong administrative, accounting, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with excellent written and verbal communication to handle the various aspects of the position.
The candidate must also have strong computer / technology skills and the drive to work independently.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides Administrative support to the Executive, Director, and HR Department to ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversees inventory management and ordering process for all business units.
- Oversees and processes payroll, including scheduling management, for all business units.
- Conducts operational audits of inventory and payroll management systems to reduce costs.
- Loss Prevention; checking POS system for open / incorrect invoices.
- Accounts Payables; Review and enter all vendor bills
- Accounts Receivables; Review and receive all customer payments and resolve short payments
- Monthly Reconciliation; Month-end reconciliation for credit cards and inventory
- Training Department Support; setting up employees in all systems and sending out new hire documents.
- Scanning; Scan paperwork daily into accounting software
- Shipping & Receiving; receive packages and prepare shipment
- Assist in all office / administrative / accounting functions as directed.
Requirements
- An associate degree in accounting, Business, or a closely related field is strongly preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in office accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong, recent working knowledge of QuickBooks
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and usage of the internet
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy and work product quality
- Ability to meet goals and scheduled timelines
- Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and work efficiently
- Resourcefulness and capacity to create solutions
- Demonstrated ability to work well with others and be a team player
- Ability to work independently and be a self-starter
- Reliable and committed to the company's success.
Compensation : $18-$24 / Hour based on experience
