The Business Information Specialist will be accountable for managing a broad range of data, analysis and modeling responsibilities across the American Funds Service Group.

You will work with cross functional teams to deliver strategic and operational outcomes. You will leverage a combination of research, statistical analysis and forecasting to provide analytical insights and make recommendations to facilitate strategic and operational decisions.

• You have 5+ years of analytics experience.
• You are curious, an excellent problem-solver, and can lead discussions with business leaders to define requirements and design creative analytical solutions to business questions / challenges.
• You will comfortably navigate ambiguity and complexities, using scenario planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• You are a skilled communicator, able to present complex analysis and data driven recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• You have a solid background in business intelligence, reporting, and data transformation, using tools like Excel, SQL, R-studio, or Python.
• You value authenticity, respect, and engagement, and can use insights to influence groups and senior associates.
• You are comfortable working with multiple geographies, functions, and stakeholders.

San Antonio Base Salary Range : $85,938-$137,501

Orange County Base Salary Range : $104,573-$167,317

Indianapolis Base Salary Range : $91,532-$146,451

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
