It’s a better equation for the future of our industry. About the role We are seeking a strategic and experienced Financial Operations (FinOps) - Advisors, Senior Manager to lead our bookings ingestion and advisor payouts functions.

In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end processes that ensure our travel advisors are compensated accurately and promptly.

You will manage and develop a team that includes both HQ and offshore staff, overseeing their work and ensuring operational excellence.

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product / engineering, data, advisor experience and our AR team you will optimize systems, drive automation, and scale our financial operations as we continue to grow.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership and Development Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing FinOps team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and operational excellence.

Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to HQ and Offshore team members. Operational Process Development and Support Develop standardized procedures for support functions to enhance efficiency and scalability, establishing clear workflows for managing and prioritizing task queues across teams.

Manage Offshore Team Operations Oversee offshore teams, ensuring alignment with HQ objectives and seamless integration of processes.

Implement communication protocols to maintain consistent and effective collaboration between HQ and offshore staff. Provide training and resources to offshore teams to uphold quality and performance standards.

Lead and Oversee Bookings Ingestion Manage the end-to-end process of bookings ingestion, ensuring all travel bookings are recorded accurately and efficiently.

Work in conjunction with the team to design operational processes to manage bookings ingestion queues and data entry efficiently Collaborate with product / engineering and data teams to implement tools and systems that automate and improve the way that advisors submit their bookings.

Manage Advisor Payouts Oversee the advisor payouts process to ensure accurate and prompt compensation. Develop strategies to streamline payouts, reduce errors, and enhance advisor satisfaction.

Ensure the FinOps Analyst and Coordinators effectively handle payouts and address any issues promptly. Drive Automation and Scalability Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within financial operations.

Implement new technologies and solutions to scale operations efficiently. Work with the team to adopt best practices and innovative solutions.

Strategic Collaboration Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial operations with overall business objectives.

Serve as a key liaison between finance, product / engineering, prodops, and advisor experience. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting Establish and track KPIs related to bookings ingestion and advisor payouts. Provide actionable insights and regular reports to senior leadership.

Use data to inform decision-making and drive improvements. Requirements Total Experience : 6+ years of experience in a combination of Consulting, Investment Banking, high-growth startup - particularly with a heavy operational role.

Background and / or experience managing offshore teams and high volume marketplace transactions is strongly preferred. Leadership and Team Building : Demonstrated experience in building, mentoring, and leading dynamic teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.

Communication : Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Must be able to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients. Strong presentation skills and an ability to navigate complex discussions with internal stakeholders are essential.

Judgment : Demonstrated capacity to exercise sound judgment in a rapidly evolving operational landscape. Expertise in business operations, financial management, and strategic planning, with the ability to assess new opportunities, anticipate challenges, and make decisive, data-informed choices that drive the function forward.

Analytical Skills : A strong data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends, operational metrics, and customer behavior.

Must be adept at using data to guide strategic decisions and optimize processes. Project Management : Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Candidates should excel at organizing and leading cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery of initiatives and overcoming obstacles in a startup-like context.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Commitment to continuous learning and personal development is essential.

Compensation Compensation range for this role can vary widely depending on experience, and for this role an indicative range is $130,000 $160,000 + equity.
