Candidates must be a Certified Medication Aide in the state of Kansas

Lakeview Village is searching for caring, dedicated, and trustworthy full-time Certified Medication Aides to join our excellent team of employees with a passion for nursing.

Lakeview Village in Lenexa, Kansas is a not-for-profit continuing care retirement community that offers long-term care, assisted living, sub-acute rehabilitation, and home health services.

Job Details :

  • The primary role of a Certified Medication Aide is to provide medical and physical care to the residents of the household / neighborhood to meet their daily needs and enable them to function at the highest possible level.
  • The CMA must be willing to perform CNA duties.
  • Shift differential is offered for the evening shift & night shift. The evening shift differential is $2.00 per hour Monday-Friday and $3.00 per hour Saturday & Sunday. The night shift differential is $3.00 per hour Monday-Friday and $4.00 per hour Saturday & Sunday.

Shifts Available :

  • 8 hour shifts – Monday-Friday & every other weekend – Evenings
  • Job Type : Full-Time, PRN

    Pay : Starts at $17.50, increases based on experience

    Qualifications

    Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications & skills :

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have current Medication Aide certification in Kansas
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills
  • Intermediate level knowledge of medical terminology
  • Possesses an empathetic approach to the elderly
  • Able to work in a team setting with residents, relatives, staff, and others
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job
