Job Details
As the Product Management Director, you will play a crucial role in translating customer needs into actionable product specifications and marketing strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead and manage our product portfolio in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving our product strategy, overseeing product development, and ensuring our products meet the needs of our customers and contribute to our company's success.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Analysis :
Conduct qualitative and quantitative market research to identify opportunities and customer needs.
Collaborate with the Commercial team to gather customer insights and develop product roadmaps.
Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
Analyze emerging technologies and their potential impact on our product lines.
Roadmap Development :
Develop and manage product roadmaps and release milestones in line with company objectives.
Justify business recommendations and gain stakeholder alignment on project priorities.
Identify and propose new product opportunities based on market and competitive analysis.
Product Development :
Prepare business cases, define product features, and create marketing requirements.
Lead cross-functional teams through the product development process.
Provide customer-centric input during design and development stages.
Incorporate post-launch feedback to enhance product offerings.
Commercialization & Go-To-Market :
Establish product positioning, messaging, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate on launch activities and develop marketing collateral.
Optimize marketing spend and support sales and training initiatives through field visits and other activities.
Other Responsibilities :
Maintain professional standards and comply with company policies and regulations.
Display dedication to role responsibilities and organizational values.
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Serve as the subject matter expert on our products, providing training and support to our sales and marketing teams.
Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, marketing, or related fields.
Preferred experience in Ophthalmology, Dermatology, or the pharmaceutical / medical device industry.
Advanced degree or MBA is a plus.
Skills :
Strong understanding of market trends and technology.
Excellent strategic thinking, project planning, and management skills.
Proficient in communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
Experience with project management and database software.
Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate complex concepts clearly.
