Job Summary

The Department of Student Media in the College of Communication, Architecture and the Arts (CARTA) is currently seeking a PantherNow Student News Director to join their team of professionals. Duties to include :

• Responsible for news coverage at FIU in PantherNOW, The Roar and PantherNOW.com.
• Ensures news content is up-to-date on PantherNOW.com and ensures there is a news talk show on The Roar.
• Coordinates and assigns a minimum of three Biscayne Bay related news stories a week.
• Hires news writers and manages the news department.
• Assigns and edits all news stories.
