We're hiring PART-TIME SWIM INSTRUCTORS!

Do you love being in the water? It's OK, if you're not a fantastic swimmer. But you do need to be AWESOME at passing on to kids the knowledge we give you.

We're looking for energetic people that are open to learning and have the ability to make learning fun. If you have a strong passion for working with children, then we're the place for you!

We reward our instructors based on their performance. The more students you have on your schedule the more compensation you will earn.

Keep in mind, your level of compensation will increase the more students you have on your schedule. You also have the opportunity to earn a $300 signing bonus!

Here's how it works :

Your Base Rate $20.00

Your Private Class Incentive (1 on 1 ratio) $2.20

Your Semi-Private Class Incentive (2 on 1 ratio) $1.10

Max Rate (Base rate + up to 3 Private Class Incentives per hour) $26.60

We also offer a lesson bonus program. If you achieve a specified renewal percentage for the month, you have the opportunity to earn up to an additional $4.

00 per hour worked. If you work 30 hours per week, that's an additional $120 per week on top of your current rate.

• Goes into effect 10 / 21 / 24.
• Expires on 11 / 3 / 24.
• Application date must be 10 / 21 / 24 - 11 / 3 / 24.
• Only applies to the Swim Instructor position.
• Only applies for qualifying locations.
• Must stay on for six consecutive months from the official start date of lessons (first day they teach lessons) at the same qualifying location.
• Not eligible for individuals seeking to be rehired (previous employees of the company).
• Not eligible for individuals seeking to be hired for the instructor position from another department within Waterworks.
• Must keep a minimum of 20 hours of availability.
• Not applicable for Substitute Swim Instructor positions.
• If individual is on a leave of absence during the 6-month time-period, signing bonus will be suspended until further notice.
• If an individual is placed on probation during the 6-month time-period, signing bonus will be suspended until further notice.
• If an individual is terminated / resigns they will no longer qualify for the signing bonus.
• Employee must be in overall good standing with the company to receive the signing bonus.
• Employee is responsible to bring their six-month mark to operation management's attention and they must meet all criteria above to qualify.

Waterworks Aquatics is a premier swim school that teaches children ages 3 months through adult how to swim. Our mission is to educate and motivate individuals to be safer and learn proper swimming technique.

Job Description :

A Waterworks Aquatics Swim Instructor is primarily responsible for teaching Private and Semi-Private swimming lessons to children and adults.

Our instructors are responsible for progressing their students at the quickest rate possible while ensuring that the students are having fun and enjoying themselves in their lessons.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Ensures the safety of their students, coworkers, and themselves
• Provides the highest quality swim lessons to all students
• Properly records student attendance on a daily basis
• Communicates with management regarding concerns and / or feedback
• Completes weekly continual training assignments

General Qualifications :

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Genuine passion for working with children
• People who are committed and reliable
• Must be able to tread water and lift up to 50 lbs.
• First Aid, CPR, AED Certification (Infant, Child, Adult)
• People who are teachable, respectful, outgoing, and motivated
• Must be open to feedback and receptive to change
• Must be able to communicate well with our customers and students
