General Acknowledgement : At Bloom and Grow Therapy Center we provide therapy services to children from ages 18 months to 17 years old with diverse needs.

Job Description :

Behavior Technicians at Bloom and Grow Therapy Center enjoy a warm supportive environment that fosters passionate employees and emphasizes professional and ethical development.

Hands on, didactic and online training provided to develop competency in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. Training remains ongoing throughout employment with a focus on constantly improving independence and quality of life for the children we serve.

Bloom and Grow Therapy Center offers a variety of career paths for those interested in making a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by autism.

We are currently providing Direct Therapy to our clients in the home setting, while our building is under construction.

Position : Non-Exempt

• Minimum Requirements needed to apply for the ABA Therapist opening :
• Bachelor's Degree not required, but preferred
• Professional references
• Proof of RBT Certification
• Reliable means of transportation
• Clean criminal history
• Maintaining respect and confidentiality for all clients
• Ability to walk, run, lift, squat, bend, push / pull 30 pounds as needed for therapy services
• Ability to efficiently write and communicate verbally
• Ability to work supportively with other professionals and staff

Summary of Essential Job Functions of the ABA Therapist :

• Implementing individualized behavior analysis programming during one-on-one therapy sessions as set forth by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst);
• Implementing BIPs (Behavior Intervention Plans) specific to client as set forth by a BCBA;
• Remaining current and knowledgeable on all client programming by reading supervision and consultation notes provided by BCBA and applying all contents to therapy sessions;
• Training incoming staff members on Applied Behavior Analysis practices and those specific to Bloom and Grow Therapy Center, LLC;
• Completing an accurate daily log of all billable interactions and billable service hours for the Client chart and reporting all information to Company;
• Recording all behavior analysis programming in adherence to data collection guidelines set forth by Bloom and Grow Therapy Center, LLC;
• Maintain punctual and consistent attendance to avoid client therapy disruption
• Other activities generally performed by an ABA Therapist that are directly related to behavioral analysis such as activities related to oversight of Company programs and employees.
• Obtaining / Maintaining Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Quality Behavioral Solutions (QBS) Safety-Care Training.
• Attends monthly in-services and job training presented by Bloom and Grow Therapy Center.
• Maintains a team and collaborative attitude.
• Attends team bonding events
