- Operate multi-axis lathes to support machining processes
- Load and tend runs of parts efficiently
- Perform one-step operations on individual parts
- Position and secure tools in holding devices
- Index turret and adjust tool positions for machining precision
- Monitor machine operation for malfunctions or deviations
- Adjust machine controls as needed
- Utilize standard hand tools, pneumatic tools, and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers)
- Work on precision metal machining with tight tolerances (+ / - .001)
- Machine various metals like stainless steel, ductile iron, Hastelloy
Experience :
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating multi-axis CNC lathes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and job orders
- Familiarity with GD&T principles
- Ability to perform housekeeping duties following 5S standards
- High School Diploma or equivalent
