Job Overview : A law firm in Miami, FL, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to handle a diverse caseload of employment-related lawsuits and provide strategic counsel to employers on labor law matters.

Duties :

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving various employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agencies, mediations, and arbitrations in employment disputes, including class / collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete cases.

Requirements :

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong background in employment law preferred.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or ability to obtain admission promptly.
• In-depth understanding of current state and federal agency procedures related to employment law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
• Commitment to professionalism, collegiality, and working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Skills :

• Litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
• Legal research and analysis capabilities.
• Client counseling and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.

Education and Certifications :

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Current admission to the Florida Bar or ability to obtain admission.
