Location : Quincy, IL

Pay Range : $16.12 - $24.18 per hour | Based on Relevant Experience

Schedule : PRN (as needed, Monday - Friday daytime hours)

About the Role :

Quincy Medical Group is seeking a flexible and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Surgery Center team. In this role, you'll provide as-needed support to assist with patient care and clinical operations before, during, and after surgical procedures. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a surgical setting while maintaining a flexible schedule.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Assist with vital signs and chart documentation.
• Support room turnover and maintain cleanliness of pre-op and recovery areas.
• Perform scope cleaning and other sterile processing duties as trained.
• Help with stocking supplies and maintaining organized workspaces.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and team members to ensure smooth surgical experiences.
• Provide general assistance to nursing, anesthesia, and provider staff as directed.
• Adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced surgical environment.
