Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Program Protection Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing program protection strategies to safeguard critical information, assets, and technologies from unauthorized access, disclosure, or exploitation.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement program protection plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to program assets and information.
  • Design and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate program protection measures into project plans and processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct security education and awareness training for employees and contractors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program protection measures and recommend improvements as needed.
  • Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies in the field of program protection and security.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program protection, information security, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of program protection principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience with risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and security control implementation.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST SP 800-160, DoD Instruction 5200.39).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP are preferred but not required.

Target salary range : $86,000 - $150,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and / or certifications.
