At the forefront of helping our customers navigate these journeys are MongoDB expert Professional Services, programmatic Migration and Modernization Factories, and support from our extensive ecosystem of services partners.
The Strategic Programs team is looking for an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to lead our go-to market motion for MongoDB Professional Services, supporting our large-scale modernization, migration, and transformation services.
As a Sr. PMM, you’ll work with senior MongoDB executives to fulfill strategy, craft messaging, and develop the materials needed to help our customers accelerate their data transformation journeys.
You will collaborate closely with Professional Services leadership, as well as a wide range of sales, marketing, enablement, and modernization teams within the company to execute plans, evaluate the results, and share your successes.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in New York City for our hybrid working model. We are also open to remote employees based in the US.
What you’ll do :
- Define the go-to-market strategy for large-scale modernization and migration services in close collaboration with Professional Services, Industry Solutions, and Partners.
- Own and manage the execution of the launch of new Professional Services offerings and cross-functional modernization solutions by working with multiple teams (including Product, Design, Marketing, Sales, Education, and more)
- Contribute to holistic Modernization and Migrations value propositions and go-to market programs by aligning several teams together, including Professional Services, Migration tooling teams, and modernization pilot teams
- Create compelling messaging and positioning that showcases why MongoDB is an ideal destination for modernization, as well as the value of our professional services to our target audiences
- Conduct customer research to understand the pain points, needs, and workflows of our buyers and users
- Plan and execute marketing efforts on behalf of modernization teams and professional services, track their results, and adjust course as needed
- Enable sales teams to successfully sell modernization solutions alongside professional services : clearly define the value of services to both customers and sales, deliver internal training and enablement, ensure sales teams understand our offerings well enough to engage with customers, and create customer-facing materials for sales to use
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant work experience (product marketing, solutions marketing)
- Deep experience in enterprise transformation, application modernization, and data migration
- The ability to take on complex projects and own them from start to finish, with organization and efficiency
- The ability to clearly articulate the value of a product / service to customers, but also to sales teams in a way that enables them to communicate it to customers
- Experience leading product or feature launches autonomously and contributing to larger launches with a team
- Thrive in cross-functional environments and can effectively collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and teams
- Strong product instincts and technical curiosity that translate to clear packaging, positioning, and messaging
- Have exceptional writing and communication skills (this is a must-have)

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location.
Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.
