This position is contingent upon favorable funding.

Job Responsibilities

Translational research laboratory setup / organization; coordination of studies; assist during large animal electrophysiology experiments;

specimen collection; tissue processing / histology; data analysis.

Assist with writing standard laboratory / research operations documentation; perform inventory analysis, supply purchasing, and other tasks as needed.

Maintain logs, data base systems, laboratory reports and regulatory documents for IACUC, ERHS, etc.

  • Analyze data, prepare data reports / powerpoint slides and participate in laboratory meetings
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

Associate of Science and 1 to 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

2 to 3 years experience preferred. Strong organizational skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently are required.

Previous experience working with large animal models in the research setting is preferred.
