We're currently hiring in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to support a district in need of a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Speech-Language Pathologist Contract Details :

• $-$ per week
• Full-time in-person SLPs for the - school year.
• The specific hours will depend on the specific caseload and will be determined by the school building’s bell hours.
• The district prefers candidates who are experienced with schools previously but is also open to individuals with zero experience.
• A typical day would be spent working with students at one or possibly two schools in district and would include evals and IEP meetings over the course of the school year.
• Students who are Kindergarten through age 21.
• Could be working with students who have difficulty swallowing, or students with communication disorders
• SLP will work with students to assess, screen, evaluate, and share results with parents and the school interdisciplinary team
• SLP will develop and implement IEPs for students while reviewing goals and objectives to make recommendations for appropriate care plans
• Will be expected to establish a positive learning environment while providing response to intervention for the needs of each student

Requirements :

• Master’s degree in education or equivalent experience with a bachelor’s degree
• Pennsylvania SLP License
• American Heart Association BLS
• School Experience is Preferred but not required
• ASHA Certification
