Vaco Orange County is a leading provider of accounting and finance consulting services. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Anaheim, CA.
Job Responsibilities :
- Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Performing monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations
- Supporting the consolidation process for multiple entities and intercompany transactions
- Prepare and assist in review of monthly balance sheet and income statement variance analysis
- Maintaining and updating the general ledger and chart of accounts
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls
- Assisting with audits, tax filings, and special projects as needed
- Working with various accounting systems and software, such as SAGE 100, QuickBooks, Excel, etc.
Job Qualifications :
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required
- At least 5 years of accounting experience
- Big company experience and exposure to complex accounting issues
- Knowledge of Sage 100, SQL, & SOX 404
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work on temp-to-permanent basis
