Position Overview : As a Surgical Technologist at Glendive Medical Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing safe, efficient, and supportive care to surgical patients.
This full-time position includes on-call hours with rotating holidays and weekends, offering flexibility and variety in your work schedule.
Working under the supervision of surgeons and peri-op nurses, you'll utilize your knowledge of asepsis and sterile technique to ensure optimal outcomes for every procedure.
Responsibilities :
- Assist surgeons and peri-op nurses in providing a safe and efficient surgical environment
- Apply principles of asepsis and sterile technique to prepare operating rooms and equipment
- Acquire and organize equipment and supplies for surgical procedures
- Serve as a liaison between surgeons, instrument representatives, and hospital staff
- Fulfill additional roles such as sterile processing and equipment acquisition as needed
Requirements : To qualify for this position, candidates must have :
- Graduated from an accredited school of surgical technology or LPN nursing program
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a surgical setting
- Basic computer skills required
