RemX is seeking a Field Service Engineer in the Austin, TX area to service high-precision automation equipment. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated professional with strong mechanical and electrical skills, and extensive experience traveling both nationally and internationally for work.
They possess strong problem-solving abilities and can handle complex situations while maintaining high standards of customer service and system reliability.
Note : This position requires 60-80% travel nationally and sometimes internationally

- 3+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer
- Work with Advanced Machinery used in Industrial Automation and Manufacturing facilities
- A background with electrical, mechanical, schematics, and PLC experience

The Position
- Perform installation, preventive maintenance, and repairs on high-precision automation machinery
- 3+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer
- Strong mechanical and technical background with experience in schematics and PLCs
- Travel 60% - 80% nationally and sometimes internationally to perform the work at customer sites
- Offer on-site troubleshooting and technical support for equipment
- Strong ability to interact and communicate effectively with diverse customers and colleagues
- Provide training to the client's on-site team
