Westport Rehab & Nursing Center is looking for a full time RN Wound Care Nurse.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conducting wound assessment, formulation of treatment plan, and recommendation of appropriate wound dressings
- Provides patient, family and staff education regarding prevention of pressure ulcers and therapeutic support services.
- Collaborates with clinical staff, physicians and other members of the treatment team to provide the patient with the highest quality and most appropriate wound care.
- Certified Wound Care Nurse and Certified Ostomy Care Nurse- If you are not yet certified, you must be willing to be certified within 3 months. : )
- Perform additional duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Must be licensed to practice as an RN .
- Knowledge of principals of infection control.
