Apicha Community Health Center’s mission is to provide affordable healthcare for underserved and vulnerable people living in the New York City boroughs and on the lower east side of Manhattan.

Position Summary :
We're looking for a committed, professional full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker for our Manhattan location. The ideal candidate is someone who is personable, an active listener, empathetic and a good communicator.
Job Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychological assessments.
- Assign diagnosis.
- Create and implement treatment plans.
Qualifications :
- Master’s degree required.
- Maintain license to provide mental health services in New York State, LCSW with R privilege preferred.
- Substance abuse experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of MSM / LGBTQI issues
- Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds in multicultural setting
- Ability to work with Limited English Proficient populations and interpretation support
- Familiarity with e Clinical Works (eCW) preferred
- Fluency in an Asian language(s) or Spanish preferred
- Proof of immunization or immunity to certain communicable diseases (including influenza during the flu season) and testing for tuberculosis is required.
These certifications are required by the NYC DOHMH Health Code, NYSDOH and OSHA.
