Responsibilities

• Create relationships with clients and guide them through the case process from intake to settlement.
• Formulate treatment plans for clients ensuring they are receiving the best possible care.
• Monitor cases by verifying client attendance; observing, evaluating and communicating treatments and responses; advocating for needed services and entitlements;

obtaining additional resources; intervening in crisis; providing the utmost professional support.

• Maintain client records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress.
• Communicate client progress by conducting weekly interdisciplinary meetings and evaluations.
• Request medical records, mail, scan and track government claim forms and manage the resolution of property damage claims.
• Draft legal documents such as letters of representation and preservation of evidence.
• Ensure client file is complete for demand and potential litigation.
• Maintain client confidence by keeping client / attorney information confidential.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in criminal justice, sociology, or related studies preferred but not mandatory.
• 1-3 years of case manager (pre-litigation) experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent telephone customer service etiquette and support.
• Superior time management and capable of handling multiple cases at once.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and written) and effectively organized.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Google Workspace.
• CASEpeer legal management software experience a plus.
• Team-oriented and independently capable.
• A strong desire to expand knowledge of personal injury law.
