Experience : ICU experience required; 2 years of experience preferred
License : Valid CA License required
Certifications : ACLS, BCLS, PALS
Must-Have :
- ICU experience
- Willingness to float between similar units
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
- Submission of required time off during application
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years
Job Description :
- Provide quality care in the PACU / Pre-Op units
- Flexibility with start times, primarily beginning at 09 : 00 AM
- Manage patient ratios of 1 : 2
- Open to first-time travelers
- No weekend shifts required
- On-call not required
- Local candidates accepted but subject to radius rule
- Candidates may need to float to nearby sister facilities
- Complete non-billable modules pre-start and annually
Additional Information :
- Facility has acute care hospital features with various dedicated staff
- Charting experience with Epic is preferred
- Scrub color requirements apply based on unit
- Orientation includes 40 hours of training
