About The Position
Job Title : Radiation Therapist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology - Radiation Therapist Job Duration : 6 Weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 00 - 15 : 00) / 5x8-Hour (15 : 00 - 23 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : At least 1 year required License : TMB License;
Compact license must be in hand at submission Certifications : ARRT(R) Registered; BLS Must-Have : COVID-19 Vaccine - Medical / Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed Job Description : Firm end date of 12 / 28 / 2024 (contract cannot extend into 2025)- Will not float between units- On-call is not required- Weekends may be required depending on volumes- Potential need to work 3 out of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)- Facility does not accept issues related to SSN or background checks- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years within a comparable specialty / setting- Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities.
Refusal to float may result in termination- Providers will be supplied with devices needed for job duties if required- Modules completion required pre-start and annually, with an average of 16 hours spent (over 20 hours requires approval)- Orientation is 40 hours non-billableThis position is for an upcoming opportunity in a Children's Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with a total of 181 staff beds and requires compliance with all listed prerequisites and experience.
