Office Experience and Events Manager
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Together with the collaboration and direction of the Los Angeles Leadership Team, the Office Experience and Events Manager provides leadership for these functions and reinforces the overall vision for the LOS office.
Additionally, this role provides oversight to the Manhattan Beach location and its Office Experience Team. The Office Experience and Events Manager drives all front- and back-end components of concierge services, facilities, and office events to maintain seamless business functionality.
This person provides a constant forward-thinking approach to new technologies, office facilities, concierge services, and affiliation opportunities and is an excellence-driven manager who leads by example.
YOU'RE GOOD AT
Lead delivery of support services for the LOS office including Office Experience, Concierge, and Events teams
Manage employee and guest services, including concierge, visitor access and experience, meetings and catering, event services, seating management, maintenance of office space and the overall health and wellbeing of the physical office and employees.
Ensure and exemplify an exceptional level of service and support
Set strategy, develop and execute plans to ensure excellent, efficient operations of the LOS office
Oversee general maintenance of the office, including security points, furniture, fixtures, carpets, paint, and the overall facility
Work closely with the IT team to implement and troubleshoot concierge and facilities-based technology
Develop, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive annual engagement and events plan that fosters inclusion and sense of belonging, creates strong office culture, builds connections, and brings joy to the entire office community
Orchestrate ongoing events and engagement opportunities (e.g., in-office lunch, happy hour), as well as seasonal marquee events (e.
g. Connect Day, Summer Retreat, Alumni Day, Holiday Party)
Oversee office communications and ensure relevant content is shared effectively
Collaborate with Finance to plan overall operations budgets for each fiscal year. Responsible for managing the budgets related to office operations and events
Manage landlord / building relationship and vendor relationships and agreements as required for effective operations (e.
g. catering, equipment, supplies, maintenance, other services and products). Serves as the escalation point for the Office Experience and Events team on vendor relations
Serve on office Incident Response Team and lead regular reviews of safety and security plans and preparations
Support office expansion and buildout projects (when applicable)
Provide general oversight of the operations of the Manhattan Beach location, ensuring seamless communication and connection as necessary
Lead / participate in additional strategic projects as needed
Lead Office Experience and Events teams
Manage a team of LOS Office Experience, Concierge, and Events roles, ensuring strong teamwork, expectations and standards
Provide line management to the Office Experience Manager of the Manhattan Beach office, acting as point of escalation for concerns

Develop and execute written and verbal training materials and programs, including policies and procedures
Ensure appropriate level of office coverage at all times; develop plans to cover for planned and unplanned staff absences

Serve as cross-functional leader within BCG

As this role is essential to creating the culture of the LOS office, in-office attendance is expected Monday through Friday (though there is some ability to work from home sporadically)
YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)
A minimum of 7 years of related work experience with progressively increasing levels of responsibility
Undergraduate degree required
The ideal candidate will have a background in Office Operations, Events and concierge services
Office Experience & Events Senior Manager level may be considered based on the candidate
YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will manage the Office Experience and Events Team (currently 4 employees). You will work closely with the LOS Business Management Leader and other management including the West Finance Team, West IT Manager & LOS IT Team, and LOS Administrative Services Manager and team.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This role can be hired at Manager or Senior Manager depending on experience.
Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, contributions to BCG’s Profit Sharing and Retirement Fund (PSRF), and a market leading benefits package described below.
We expect total annualized compensation for Los Angeles based employees to be approximately the following :
Base salary between $90,000-110,000 for Manager and $110,000- $134,000 for Senior Manager (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level
Annual discretionary performance bonus between 0-16% for Manager and 0-20% for Senior Manager
5% Profit Sharing Retirement Fund (PSRF) contribution, increasing to 10% after two years of service. Contributions are vested immediately and there is no waiting period
