Telemedicine Medical Assistant (NH, ME, VT, MA, or RI)

Our telemedicine team is growing as we expand to include patients in New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont. We are seeking an experienced MA to join our team;

Full-time employees must be able to work three 12-hours shifts per week including rotating weekends. A typical day in the life of a Telemedicine Medical Assistant, includes : Conduct assessment of patient based off reason for virtual visit Provide assessment to provider before passing patient off to be seen by the provider.

Coordinate patient care or records with other center locations when necessary. Instruct and educate patients about their own concerns, discharge paperwork or other questions as appropriate for position.

Provide accurate and timely documentation to staff, insurance carriers and employers. Maintain patient records for clinical, physician and billing use.

Education & Experience : 1 or more years of customer service experience. 1-3 years of Medical Assistant, EMT, or LPN experience preferred.

Some experience with patient intake or medical billing preferred. Experience with Experity preferred, but not required 1-3 years of Telemedicine experience is a plus.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Proficient in MS Office programs such as Word, Excel and SharePoint. Demonstrated good judgement, initiative, and patient interaction skills.

Our centers / telemedicine platform are open (7) days per week 8AM to 8PM. Full-time employees must be able to work three 12-hours shifts per week.
