Payment Poster

A company is looking for a Payment Poster to manage billing tasks remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Post all cash to accounts receivable and ensure balances match cash received

Process daily deposits of insurance checks and manage lockbox operations

Research cash application issues and prepare necessary adjusting entries for variances

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with a minimum of two years in a medical office setting

Preferred experience in revenue posting, ERA, EFT, VCC, and ACH

Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and physician billing / collections preferred

Typing speed of 55 wpm and proficiency with calculators

Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including sitting for long periods and occasional lifting
