Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do : TranSystems is seeking a Construction Services Record Keeper to join our Forth Worth, TX office! The ideal candidate is expected to manage construction project records and handle all related documentation within the Construction Services division at TranSystems Corporation for designated projects, ensuring that contractual commitments are fulfilled.
This role involves interaction with government officials, contractors, and various private stakeholders. Primary Responsibilities (others may be included) : Reviews and modifies contract documents for accuracy and to reflect changes to the original agreement;
monitors records to verify compliance with applicable federal and state laws, policies, procedures, regulations, and guidelines.
Responsible for setting up accounts and all documentation necessary for each construction project within the assigned area.
Monitors contractor’s compliance with federal requirements related to Equal Employment Opportunity and wages rates. Monitors on-the-job training programs and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise and Small Business Enterprise programs;
submits required monthly reports. Prepares and submits monthly and final estimates; checks calculations against work log and estimate form to verify work is completed before payment is made.
Prepares and responds to requests for correspondence, reports, and supporting documents. Responsible for filing documentation and ordering supplies and equipment.
Processes change orders, supplemental agreements, and extra work orders. Acts as a liaison with construction inspectors and contractor’s staff and provides status updates as needed.
Attends pre-construction meetings to instruct contractor’s personnel on documentation procedures. May assist with the development and review of project proposals.
Responsible for the knowledge and awareness of the related safety and compliance programs. Qualifications What you bring to our firm : Education : High School Grad or Equivalent in general education.
Experience : 3 years roadway construction record keeping. Valid US driver’s license. This position requires driving to projects and related meetings.
Currently possess TxDOT Precertification in technical Category 11.10.1 Construction Record Keeper, or ability to obtain within three (3) months of the date of hire.
Skill using TxDOT SiteManager and LCPtracker preferred, but experience using other systems such as Headlight, APCM (AASHTOWare Project Construction & Materials) and EPRS (Electronic Project Records Systems) may be acceptable.

Work Environment : Sedentary work : Lift up to 10lbs at a time and occasionally carry files / small tools. Light work : Lift up to 20lbs at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 10lbs.
Standing-prolonged periods of time. Repetitive Motion-substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. Close Visual Acuity-work includes data / figures;
