We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers a flexible schedule, ideal for someone with a passion for financial management and an eye for accuracy.

You’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations while supporting office management tasks.

Responsibilities :

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping functions such as setting up vendors, entering and paying invoices, and processing payments.

Create and send invoices to multiple entities.

Reconcile and code credit card statements and process online payments.

Reconcile accounts and provide supporting expense documentation.

Enter invoices into accounts payable and print checks on a weekly basis for multiple entities.

Perform clerical duties, including data entry, filing, and document organization.

Prepare annual 1099’s.

Prepare journal entries for multiple entities.

Deposit checks to the bank.

Copy and scan support into the accounting system.

Run Balance Sheets and P&L reports.

Maintain a highly organized digital and physical document filing and retention system and ensure efficient archival of and ongoing access to important data records.

Support general office management to maintain a well-organized workspace.

Perform all job duties and responsibilities in an honest and ethical manner and in compliance with all laws, regulations, and Company policies.

Perform such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Qualifications :

One to three years of experience in accounting, preferred.

Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Moderate level of proficiency in Excel; capable of using PowerPoint and Word.

Sensitivity to and respect for the confidential nature of the subject matter of the job and the department.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger and accounts payable.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.

Experience with an accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks).
