Job Overview : As a Special Education Teacher , you will be responsible for providing instruction and support to high school students with a variety of learning needs.

You will offer push-in services, working alongside general education teachers to ensure that students receive the support they need in a mainstream classroom.

Additionally, you will focus on teaching essential skills that help students navigate both their academic and personal lives.

Your role will include developing and implementing IEPs, collaborating with other educators and support staff, and maintaining clear communication with families and guardians.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work with high school students in a resource classroom setting, providing targeted instruction and support.
• Provide push-in services in general education classrooms, collaborating with teachers to ensure all students are supported.
• Teach essential skills that promote independence and academic success.
• Manage a caseload of fewer than 25 students, ensuring each student receives individualized attention.
• Collaborate with a team of educators, specialists, and school staff to develop and implement IEPs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians.
