Position Overview : As a contract SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the munication and language development of students.
This rewarding position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and munication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum
- Conduct screenings and participate in the identification and referral process for students with munication challenges
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans
Qualifications :
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Michigan SLP Licensure
- Passion for working with children and promoting positive munication skills
