The Associate Field Service Engineer for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for the vital work of maintaining diagnostic tools, which directly influences patient health and well-being.

This position is part of the Service Organization located in the DC / Baltimore metro area and will be fully remote.

You will be a part of the Field Service Team reporting to the Field Service Manager and responsible for ensuring optimal performance of Beckman Coulter equipment.

This position services the Urinalysis and Hematology systems.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to : Under moderate direction from Field Service mentors and leadership, complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications, and service repair needs on Beckman Coulter equipment including providing excellent and efficient service to Beckman Coulters customers, along with technical training on products.

Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times.

Utilize business systems such as OBI, Sales Force, and SharePoint for Service Call Planning and advancing team goals Engage with both internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their unique needs The essential requirements of the job include : Associate degree preferred or equivalent military experience (Applicants with applicable military experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis) 01-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and / or instrumentation Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements : Ability to travel 20% , overnight, within territory .

Provide service in an assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas / overnight including VA, DC, WV(eastern), MD, DE Must have a valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.).

Candidates must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch / crawl, push / pull, and sit / stand for extended periods of time.

Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex / extend neck, have good hand, and finger dexterity.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in : 2 years experience of troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and / or service repair.

The hourly range for this role is $33.00- $36.00 .

This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.

We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.

This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus / incentive pay and company vehicle.
