About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Critical Care Float Job Duration : 12 weeks Shift : Night, 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 1 year;
first-time applicants accepted License : GA or Compact license required at time of application Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have : Compliance with all medical and facility requirements Job Description : Work across multiple units including ICU, MS, MS Tele, PCU, Neuro ICU, and CVICU.
- Primary duty is to float within the ICU but may be required to float to all applicable hospital units.- Treat a diverse patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics.
- Work with various diagnoses within the potential MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU categories.- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 2-3 ICU, 1 : 4-5 PCU, and 1 : 5-6 MS, MS Tele.
- Proficient with hospital systems such as Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR.- Follow the hospital's scrubs policy, wearing navy blue.
- RTO is capped at 7 days, and assignment includes working every other weekend.- Holiday work expectations include one or more major holidays during the contract period.
- Complete orientation consisting of 13 hours before starting the first shift.- Must be compliant with full hospital requirements to ensure an on-time start.
