Nightwing is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to join a dynamic program in a world-class operations facility.

The program requires a candidate that can support a broad range of fast paced, quick reaction program requirements. The IT Specialist will assist in the installation of architecture for end-to end integrated systems and applications for facility-wide requirements.

The IT Specialist will have problem solving experience to commission, troubleshoot, and configure a variety of computing and network hardware.

As part of a team, this role will support desktop computer deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of facility networks, and general IT support to the program facilities.

The individual has experience with desktop image deployment and network maintenance Assist project teams with vendor management and coordination of equipment quotes and orders.

Clearance Requirement : Must be a US Citizen with an active TS / SCI clearance with active Polygraph.

Required Skills :

Proven experience with Microsoft Windows based systems architecture and operating systems

Experience deploying desktop images, end-user PC replacement, and adding / removing desktop PCs from corporate domain

Experienced systems administration of enterprise networks, connectivity, and equipment

Experience monitoring backups and performing off-site backup storage tasks

Experience in configuration and monitoring anti-virus console and performing remediation actions after quarantine

Familiarity with Cisco Call Manager and corporate phone configuration

Experience with computer / network vulnerability assessment tools operation and reporting

Experienced accountable property and asset tracking management

Experienced with IT equipment installation and decommission (from user workspace to Network / DEMARC rooms)

Experienced with new facility fit-out and the requirements management to include enterprise and program specific IT architecture

Independently resolve complex, break / fix issues in person or remote

Receive and respond to incoming incidents and support requests in a timely manner

Collaborate with team members on current issues and resolutions

Prioritize a variety of tasks, based on current environment needs

Overall 5 years of experience

Education / Experience Requirement :

Current certification in at least one of the following areas preferred : CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA), preferably in Microsoft's current Desktop Operating System, CCNA

Bachelor's degree. Additional experience may be used in lieu of degree

Typically requires :

A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
