About The Position

Please do not submit if clinician is more than 40 miles from the facility addressProvide interview availability for 2 weeks at time of submittal (dates / times)Required : 2-3 years of surgical equipment experience, will need to assist with patient positioning for OR proceduresDress code : Scrubs providedParking : Valley lot is $85 / month or main parking structure $13 / day Shift : M-F 06 : 00-2 : 30pm NO FLOATINGEquipment Technician supports the operating room staff on a daily basis by maintaining and coordinating the movement of the equipment for each surgical procedure throughout the day.

This individual will work closely with the Biomedical Department to insure the daily availability of this surgical related equipment and provide the necessary communication regarding the status of equipment, when out for repair.

Through collaboration with the Clinical Coordinators and Supervisors this individual with coordinate the movement of equipment to facilitate the daily schedule and provide support the clinical staff.

The Equipment Technician will assist the Clinical Educator of the operating room by providing equipment specific training to the operating room staff through in-services and one-on-one training.
