Purpose / Summary :
The Operations Manager supports the overall training strategy to support RelyOn Nutec’s business initiatives and objectives.
Lead the facility’s general operations and its employees that include building maintenance, customer service and business operation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensures the training and development solutions are consistent with business strategies, management priorities and adaptable to global requirements.
- Facility’s representative and liaison for corporate communications.
- Be available for handling customer calls and emails after hours, weekends and holidays.
- Manages the scheduling and delivery of training and development programs.
- Ensures training information is updated and accessible for all employees.
- Participates in and controls the facility’s annual operating budget.
- Analyzes marketing needs to develop new training programs through student / client feedback.
- Confers with management and conducts surveys to identify training needs based on projected needs, changes and other factors.
- Conducts routine staff planning meetings as needed for smooth operations.
- Partners with the Human Resources Department on personnel issues.
- Guides, supports and consults location employees regarding career advancement.
- Reviews and approves purchase orders, expense reports and timesheets.
- Manages the RelyOn Nutec competency assurance program for their facility’s personnel.
- Responsible for hiring, evaluating and terminating employees working at their respective location.
- Reviews and approves Instructor assignments on a routine basis and spot-checks classroom performance for quality purposes and provides feedback.
- Create succession / employee development plans that provide RelyOn Nutec with prepared, qualified internal candidates with career growth based on each employee’s performance evaluations.
- Responsible for ensuring completion of periodic safety and quality work practices
- Participate in course delivery.

Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution; or 7 years related experience, preferably in the safety industry with supervisory experience;
or the equivalent of experience and education.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills :
Ability to add and subtract simple math equations.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram.
Computer Skills :
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Valid driver’s license.
Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear.
The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must regularly lift 10 occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus.
