Midwest Regional Sales Manager

This position in the Midwest will search and build new emulsion product OEM sales through innovative ideas; maintain correspondence and customer contact, and continually develop new contacts within the accounts assigned.

Responsibilities :

  • Project and achieve monthly / annual sales objectives / goals for territory and specific customers.
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships at accounts while identifying and building new ones.
  • Attend industry trade shows and seminars.
  • Search for new business and new business potentials; nurture leads in the territory to develop sales to new prospects.
  • Understand, manage, relay, and provide solutions to problems identified by assigned customers.
  • Understand product applications and uses.
  • Collaborate with technical staff, purchasing, supply chain, and leaders at new and assigned accounts.

Skills / Qualifications :

  • B.A. / B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred
  • 5+ years experience in specialty chemical sales, with a preference for experience in water-based formulations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
