Senior Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations

Prepare and review financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies

Mentor and coach junior accounting staff while driving process improvements within the accounting function

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within healthcare or service organizations

Strong technical accounting knowledge (GAAP, revenue recognition, accruals, etc.)

Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, Oracle)

Advanced Excel skills (functions, pivot tables, macros)
